Terms & Conditions
Updated 4 October 2026 · Jonas Hempel, entrance.video, Rostock, Germany
1. Scope
These terms describe services by Jonas Hempel, trading as entrance.video. Submitting the website form or booking a discovery call is a non-binding inquiry, not an order. Scope, price, timeline and applicable terms are confirmed in an individual written offer before work starts. Individually agreed terms take precedence.
2. Services
entrance.video provides motion design, video editing, explainer videos, brand motion, and related creative services. Deliverables are agreed upon individually per project. Work beyond the original scope will be addressed separately.
3. Pricing & Payment
Pricing is agreed upon individually before work begins. Payment terms are determined on a per-project basis. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. Jonas Hempel is registered as a Kleinunternehmer under §19 UStG, no VAT is charged. A rush fee may apply for tight deadlines and will always be communicated in advance.
4. Revisions
Each project includes two (2) revision rounds by default, unless a different number is agreed in writing beforehand. A revision round means one consolidated list of feedback, not ongoing changes. Additional revision rounds beyond the included number will be charged at 15% of the original project price per round, unless a different rate was agreed in advance.
5. Delivery
Timelines are estimated based on scope and agreed individually. They may shift if the Client is late providing materials, feedback, or approvals. Final files are delivered once the project is complete and agreed payment has been received.
6. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
All work remains the intellectual property of Jonas Hempel until full payment is received. Upon payment, the Client receives the right to use the delivered files for the agreed purpose. The Service Provider retains the right to display the work in their portfolio and on social media, unless the Client requests otherwise before the project begins. Raw project files are not included by default.
7. Cancellations
Cancellation terms are agreed in the individual offer. Any payment due for work already performed or costs already incurred must take account of the applicable law, saved expenses and the agreed scope. A deposit is credited against the final amount owed; it is not automatically non-refundable. Mandatory statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
8. Liability
Liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory statutory rights.
9. Governing Law
German law applies, subject to mandatory protections that apply to consumers. Rostock is the agreed place of jurisdiction only where such an agreement is legally permitted.
Privacy Policy
Data protection in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. Hosting and technical logs
Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and processes technical request data, including IP address, browser/device information, request time, requested URL and referrer, to deliver and secure it. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: operating a secure website. Netlify operates internationally, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Agreement includes safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting service’s operational and security requirements.

3. Project requests — Netlify Forms
The project form uses Netlify Forms. The name, email address, service, indicative budget, message, privacy acknowledgment and page URL are sent to Netlify when you submit. Technical submission data may also be processed for security and spam detection. Netlify’s spam filtering includes Akismet. Submissions are available in the access-controlled Netlify dashboard; email notifications may deliver a copy to the business inbox. No public submission list or export is provided.
The information is used to answer your inquiry and prepare a possible project (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Security and spam prevention are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The checkbox acknowledges this notice; it does not subscribe you to marketing or waive any contractual rights. Please do not send passwords, confidential credentials or sensitive personal data.
Unsuccessful inquiries are reviewed and deleted within six months after the discussion ends. Information needed for an ongoing project, a legal claim or statutory business-record retention is kept only for the applicable purpose and period. You can request deletion at hello@entrance.video. Requests can also be sent directly by email.

4. Vimeo — optional project videos
Project films use Vimeo.com, Inc. The player connects only after you allow Vimeo or choose “Load video”. Until then, the poster is served by this website. When enabled, Vimeo receives connection data such as IP address, browser information and the page/referrer and may process playback data. The player uses dnt=1 to limit tracking; essential security cookies can still be used. Previously stored Vimeo cookies may also be sent by your browser.
Loading is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG for optional device storage/access). You can withdraw it through Cookie settings. Withdrawal unloads the player and prevents further loading here; this website cannot delete cookies held on Vimeo’s domain. Vimeo may process data in the United States.

5. Cal.com — optional booking calendar
The calendar connects to Cal.com, Inc. only after you allow Cal.com or choose “Load calendar”. Loading transmits connection data such as IP address, browser information and the referring page. Booking adds the name, email address, time zone and any answers you enter, so an appointment can be arranged. Cal.com may process this data in the United States and use service providers for delivery, security and scheduling.
The optional embed is loaded with consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; § 25(1) TDDDG where applicable). Appointment processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can withdraw embed consent through Cookie settings; this removes the calendar here, but does not cancel an existing appointment or erase its booking record. For cancellation or deletion, use your booking confirmation or contact hello@entrance.video. Unneeded booking records are reviewed and deleted within six months after the discussion ends, unless needed for an ongoing project or legal obligation.

6. Optional Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is inactive unless a measurement ID is configured and you explicitly allow Analytics. Before consent, no Google Analytics script or measurement request is sent. When enabled, page visits, interactions and technical device/browser data are used to understand how this website is used. Form contents and booking details are not sent to Analytics by this website.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may process data internationally, including in the United States, under its applicable transfer safeguards. Advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Analytics cookies are configured for a maximum of six months.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings. This stops further measurement and deletes accessible first-party _ga cookies. Data processed before withdrawal remains subject to Google’s configured retention settings.

7. Cookies and stored settings
Consent preferences are stored on this device under entrance-privacy-preferences-v1 for six months, so your choices can be remembered. This necessary preference storage does not contain a name or email address and is not used for tracking. Older entrance-analytics-consent settings are migrated when present. Blocking browser storage means choices can only be remembered for the current visit.
Optional service storage is described in the table below. Third-party providers can change their necessary cookies; their linked policies give further details. Choosing “Only necessary” disables Analytics, Vimeo and Cal.com. You can enable services separately and revoke them in Cookie settings at any time.
8. Requests, disclosure and retention
A project request or discovery call does not place an order, trigger a payment, or waive a statutory right of withdrawal. Project-specific contractual terms are agreed separately.
Personal information is used to answer requests and perform agreed work. It is shared only with the providers needed for those purposes, with your consent where required, or when legally required. Access to business inboxes and provider dashboards is restricted. Deletion requests also cover copies in those systems, subject to legal retention duties.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). In particular, you can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect; earlier lawful processing is not affected.
Contact hello@entrance.video to exercise these rights. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: www.datenschutz-mv.de
